About Mr. Tan Hai Tat
Mr. Tan was among the pioneer batch of entrepreneurs who took part in the Technopreneur Home Office Scheme (THO). Besides HT Zone, he also founded two other companies — Network Technoprise Pte Ltd and Lifelong Training Centre — during his final year at NUS. For these achievements, he was featured in Project Eyeball in October 2002.
Since then, Mr. Tan has founded several companies and has been involved in various industries, including IT, education, HR, finance, wealth management, investment, fintech, and mergers & acquisitions. He has worked with people of different nationalities, ages, and backgrounds, building teams from the ground up, with the largest comprising over 50 members.
Mr. Tan has been responsible for most of the recruitment processes — from job postings and candidate selection to interviews and orientation training for new members.
With over 15 years of experience in business networking, Mr. Tan served as a Director Consultant for Business Network International (BNI Singapore). He also participated in BNI meetings in Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand, and China, and has delivered public talks on Internet Marketing, Investment, and other business-related topics, both locally and overseas (including China and Myanmar).
Mr. Tan is highly familiar with Singapore’s hiring grants, productivity enhancement initiatives, and overseas expansion procedures. He has in-depth knowledge of the MOM, ACRA, and IRAS requirements for various business operations in Singapore and is adept at multi-tasking across multiple domains.
He has fulfilled numerous licensing and certification requirements, including:
- Real Estate Salesperson Examination
- Certificate of Employment Intermediaries (KAH)
- Estate Planning Certification
- Capital Markets and Financial Advisory Services (Modules M5, M9, M9A, HI, CGI, BCP & ComGI)
In 2022, Mr. Tan completed the WSQ Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP). He has been conducting workshops and seminars on various business, investment, and technology-related topics since 2000, sharing his practical experience and insights with entrepreneurs, professionals, and learners across different backgrounds.
